With 187 new recovered cases reported on Tuesday, the overall tally of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) recoveries nationwide climbed to 361,919.

The Department of Health (DOH) also reported 1,347 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number of active cases to 30,169.

Of the active cases, about 83 percent are mild, 9.4 percent are asymptomatic, 2.7 percent are severe, and 4.8 percent are in critical condition.

The majority of the newly announced cases are from Cavite with 92, City of Manila with 77, Quezon City with 58, Baguio City with 55, and Laguna with 52 infections.

According to the DOH data on November 9, about 1,274 or 5.8 percent out of the 21,841 who have been tested turned out positive for Covid-19.

The DOH also logged 14 deaths on Tuesday, pushing the death toll to 7,661.

As of Tuesday, DOH said it has 21,300 total bed capacity dedicated to Covid-19 patients.

Available are about 54 percent of 1,900 intensive care unit beds; 58 percent of 13,500 isolation beds; and 68 percent of 5,900 ward beds.

About 78 percent of 2,000 ventilators are in use. (PNA)
