Ariana Grande makes history as she becomes the first woman who achieved over 201.5 million followers on Instagram.
Next to the ‘Dangerous Woman’ singer, is Kylie Jenner with 193 million followers and then Selena Gomez with 191 million followers.
On the other hand, football star Cristiano Ronaldo is leads with 237 million followers. He is also the first person to hit 200 million followers on the platform.
Ronaldo is followed by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson with 196 million followers.
Fellow Italian and singer Lady Gaga took to Instagram her congratulatory message:
“Can it be tomorrow so I can perform for my fans ?#vmas Condragulations to my friend @arianagrande for 200 million followers! You’re a queen! Wear that crown! ????♀?♀”
Gaga and Grande recently performed their collaboration track ‘Rain On Me’ at the 2020’s MTV Video Music Awards which earned numerous awards including “Video of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, “Best Collaboration”, “Best Pop”, “Best Cinematography”, “Best Visual Effects”, and “Best Choreography”.
