“Money Heist”, also known by its original name “La Casa de Papel”, will come to an end after the fifth season. The hit show currently has seasons 1 through 4 available on the video-streaming platform Netflix.

“Money Heist” is Netflix’s most popular non-English series. Part 4 of the series, which was released on April this year, was streamed by 65 million views within a month of its launch. It may be safe to say that the show has become a lot of people’s quarantine binge-watch.

As it moves into its final season, a big change is coming the audience’s way. Alex Pina, the creator of Money Heist revealed that they are “moving from a chess game – a mere intellectual strategy – to a war strategy: attack and contention”.

Two new characters will be added for the new season, and they will be played by Miguel Angel Silvestre and Patrick Criado. Creator Alex Pina did not divulge much information about their characters and their place in the story but teased that they might be opponents.

Fans of Manila will also be thrilled to know that this season will let her character shine more.

“Money Heist” has always been filled with adrenaline, suspense, drama and comedy that got viewers hooked.

Part 4 was recently released this year so fans may not see the finale as soon as they hope. Additionally, production of Part 5 will begin in Denmark prior to filming in Spain and Portugal. So hold tight, the heist is about the get even more exciting, and now all we have to do is wait.
