On July 7, 2020, a surprise inspection was conducted among Pasig city’s traffic enforcers and through the inspection 12 traffic enforcers were caught driving without a license and some of the vehicles that they are using are not registered.
With that the enforcers were given a traffic violation ticket and their vehicles were impounded.
After the surprise inspection Pasig City Mayor, Vico Sotto shared on his twitter account his dismay on the traffic enforcers who violated the traffic laws.

He mentioned that the traffic enforcers will not be exempted from punishments just because they have a position in the government. In a matter of fact the people who are working in the government must be the one who should really observe and follow the laws because they are supposed to set as a good example to the people.
With Mayor Vico Sotto not allowing any impunity in the government, it gives people hope that amidst the challenges that we are facing right now with the pandemic, the government is still doing its part in making sure that the rules and regulations are still being strictly followed in order to maintain peace and order in our community.
