Jamie Rivera sings a new Tagalog version of “Heal Our Land,” a song for the weary dubbed “Hilumin Mo, Bayan Ko,” as the nation celebrates Labor Day this Friday (May 1).

The Inspirational Diva shares this praise song to remind Filipinos of the power of prayer especially in this time of uncertainty.

“Covid-19- it’s so contagious, so powerful. And we are afraid. We all want to pray for protection and for the healing of our people, the healing of our land,” Jamie shared.

“As we sing this prayer, ‘Hilumin Mo, Bayan Ko,’ let us be reminded that God is just waiting for us to humble ourselves,” she said, emphasizing how healing is possible with humility.

“Because humility is more contagious. Humility can also infect other people. All we pray for is that by humbling ourselves before God and by admitting that we all need Him, God can heal our nation,” she added.

The Star Music artist also recently performed her song “Tanging Yaman” for the unplugged music video series ”Metro Safe & Sound,” which supports ABS-CBN’s Pantawid ng Pag-ibig program for the benefit of families affected by the community quarantine.

Watch out for Jamie’s new performance video featuring the song “Hilumin Mo, Bayan Ko,” streaming starting this Friday (May 1) on Star Music’s YouTube channel. For more details, like Star Music on Facebook at www.facebook.com/starmusicph, and follow it on Twitter and Instagram @StarMusicPH.
