The Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) Corporation said on Tuesday that air carriers flying out of Clark International Airport (CRK) have temporarily suspended all their commercial flights, effective April 3.
LIPAD Corporate Communications officer Teri Flores said the move is due to the continuing travel restrictions being implemented in the country and abroad to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Likewise, the P2P bus operations will also be temporarily suspended.
However, Flores said the CRK will remain operational to service essential cargo flights and support the government efforts to curb the Covid-19 cases.
“The CRK management takes this opportunity to thank all front-liners, most especially the CRK team members, who continuously serve the public during these challenging times,” Flores said in a statement.
She assured that the CRK will continuously post any updates received from their partner airlines.
She also encouraged passengers to communicate with their airlines for specific flight updates. (PNA)
