10. Redecorate Your House

Continuing to live in a house that reflects the tastes and preferences of your ex only hinders you from moving on. This is because this might trigger old memories when you were still together. You can change the curtains, beddings and maybe re arrange the furniture. If that is not working then do a complete makeover. Refurnish and repaint the furniture if possible. You can also paint the entire house to get that new and fresh look.
