6. Get to know her family

Filipinos are known for their close-knit family ties. If you decide to court a Filipina, expect to meet her whole family… and whole clan. Once the Filipina you’re courting invites you to meet her family, take it as a good sign. Just be prepared for all the interrogation you’d have to undergo, especially by her dad. Who can blame them? Fathers only want what’s best for their daughters.

To leave the house feeling confident, make sure you make a good impression by being honest and respectful to her family members. Once you gain their trust, expect to get invited to their house more often – and if you’re lucky, you’d eventually get invited to family gatherings to meet their other relatives too!
