2. Freedom

Closely related to first is the freedom you have when you are not in a relationship. You can leave work and head to the bar on a Friday night and return home in the morning and no one will be calling asking you where you are and why didn’t you inform them. You can choose to spend an entire weekend in your boxers watching sports and drinking beer and no one will come to change the channel to watch a weekend marathon of soaps. Being single means you do not have to be considerate in your own house.
