7. “Sobrang Busy Ko Lang, Pero Promise Tatawagan Kita”

This is red flag. Making up excuses such as being “too busy” is one of their ways to slowly drift away from you. Sometimes, they’re going to use their studies as an excuse to detach from you. They’re going to tell you that they have a report to pass tomorrow, or a project that’s due next week, or the likes. And while they promise you that they’ll try to call, they will never call you. Kahit paloadan mo sya ng Php500, kung ayaw ka na talaga nyang kausap, ayaw na nya.
