By the end of the movie, he realized that it was foolish to go after someone who is not meant for you. That no matter how hard he tried, he would never end up with her or they’d never be happy since they are not destined to be together. It shows that no matter how hard you look, sometimes it doesn’t matter because what’s meant for you is sometimes just lurking right in the corner of your eyes, waiting to be noticed.
