New real estate player I-Land (ISOC Land) recently topped off its maiden mixed-use office development dubbed I-Land Bay Plaza located along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard at the Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. In line with its promise of “Office of the Future,” the 12-storey, 24,000 sqm premium office tower is designed as an energy-efficient “green” building developed to meet global standards of excellence with LEED-certified design and features. It boasts an intelligent building management system (BMS), energy-saving lighting system with motion sensors, daylight access and double glazed tinted glass windows to minimize heat and noise, 24/7 back-up power supply, nine high-speed elevators and reliable security. Despite the unexpected challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, construction remains on track and as much as 50% of the total leasable office spaces plus ground and underground level retail have already been booked. Leading the ceremonial topping-off were: ASYA Project Architect Engr. Alex Balean; I-Land and ISOC President Jesus G. Chua; I-Land and ISOC Chairman Michael Cosiquien; I-Land VP and Business Unit Head May Lopez; and Whiteport Project Manager Arch. Leonides Hadjirul. Pasay City Administrator Atty. Dennis Bernard Acorda also witnessed the event.
