The City Health Office said on Thursday it has recorded not a single case of post-immunization adverse effects among the A2 and A3 priority groups in this city.

Dr. Dule Amor Miravite, City Health Office (CHO) chief, said at least 1,831 senior citizens and 491 persons with comorbidities have already received their first doses of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccinations.

The A2 priority group are the senior citizens and A3 are persons with comorbidities aged 18 to 59 years old.

Miravite said the CHO started last week the vaccinations for the A2 and A3 priority groups after completing the vaccinations for health front-liners classified as A1 priority group.

Meanwhile, at least 47,358 individuals have already signed up for inoculation, Miravite said.

She said the figures are partial count as registration for the A2 to A4 priority groups and the rest of the population are still ongoing in different barangay health centers.

The A4 category consists of front-line personnel in essential sectors, including uniformed personnel.

Applicants may also register through www.zambocovax.com, the local government’s online vaccination registration program. (PNA)
