Four years following its successful debut, Train To Busan is back and more gruesome than ever!

Train To Busan 2: Peninsula takes us to a Peninsula four years after the outbreak in the first movie. Reports say it will center on soldier Jung-Seok’s venture in the Korean Peninsula as he tries to survive in the zombie-infested wasteland.

However, as much as we missed the old cast, this won’t be a direct sequel, but rather a standalone existing in the same universe. There won’t be any follow-up story line nor returning characters.

The movie stars Lee Jung-Hyun (A Petal, 1996) and Gang Dong-Won (A Violent Prosecutor, 2016). It is directed by Yeon Sang-Ho.

Boasting terrifyingly realistic visuals, Peninsula is surely a highly anticipated movie especially for zombie flick fans out there!

There are no final dates yet, but according to sources, Train To Busan 2: Peninsula is set to premiere on August so mark your calendars now!
