Vice President Leni Robredo spoke at the kick-off of the Istorya ng Pag-asa Special Edition: School Tour, held at Batasan Hills National High School in Quezon City on Monday, Jan. 20, 2020.

The school tour features the Istorya ng Pag-asa special edition photo gallery, which showcases the photos and stories of former drug dependents who now lead better lives; families of those killed in the drug war; and advocates for a more humane approach on the country’s drug problem.

For VP Leni, the gallery—which will be exhibited there for two weeks—is a way to inform students not only about the perils of drug addiction, but more importantly, how the problem of illegal drugs can be solved not through violence, but by helping drug dependents recover and be productive members of society through proper interventions and understanding.
