Vice President Leni Robredo met with the fisherfolk of Brgy. Lukboton in Isabela City, Basilan to award their council a cheque worth P2 million for its locally-funded project to purchase livelihood assets, held at the Isabela City Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019.

VP Leni’s office, under its anti-poverty program Angat Buhay, turned over the cheque and certificate to the Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and Marine Council of Isabela (FARMCI) for the procurement of a solar panel powered fish refrigerator, three motorized bancas, and two gill nets for the fishing community in Lukboton village.
