In Hagonoy, VP Leni met the fisherfolk group Pinagbuklod Samahan ng mga Mangingisda sa Hagonoy (PINAGSAMA), which received a livelihood subsidy from the OVP, to be used for the establishment of seven cooperative stores that aims to make fishing supplies available to fishermen at an affordable price.

The Vice President also went to the City of Malolos, to personally hand over the livelihood assistance to the Bulacan Motor Riders Federation, Inc., an organization composed of members of the transport and informal workers sectors. The subsidy will be used to build a consumer cooperative store.

VP Leni likewise visited the town of Pandi, to meet the members of Inga Fashion Designs, another sewing group that has taken part in the OVP’s local production of PPE suits for frontliners.
