The United Vloggers and Influencers of the Philippines is a version of the pro-marcos vloggers of a press corps. They have organized this group with their own code of ethics and bylaws with the goal of gaining a Malacañang Press Corps membership.

Currently, UVIP is seeking legitimacy with the Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC). This includes the process of formalizing their constitution as an organization, which includes the bylaws and code of ethics. The SEC accreditation and organizational principles are among the requirements for accreditation by the Malacañang Press Corps membership.

This initiative comes after the announcement of Press Secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles. She will be responsible for evaluating the rules of accreditation for influencers, which were crafted under the Duterte administration.

The UVIP consists of different vloggers and influencers all over the country. They are led by prominent pro-Marcos vloggers, Jarret Pulido as the president of the group, and John Anthony Jaboya as the internal vice president, with over 180,000 and 970,000 subscribers on Youtube, respectively.

Combined with the other vloggers and influencers, they have roughly a 2.3 million subscriber count in total. Many of them believe that it is high time for vloggers to take over and become the winning voice of the masses as they firmly see the mainstream media as biased and always have political agendas. They also want to have a long-term accreditation policy that matches what is bestowed on professional journalists.

It can be noted that there are already vlogger live streams using multiple phones present during Marcos and Duterte’s campaigns. They are also the main topics on different Youtube channels, especially regarding the Marcos family.
