Every artist has their unique trademark of owning an art concept— exhibiting remarkable art pieces to showcase their talents. Our country’s artists are undoubtedly skilled individuals bringing their creativity to the next level. This showcases how talented Filipinos are in any field of art.

A Filipino digital artist and illustrator made a name for himself by owning a unique concept of art style. He is Ronald Quiñones Jr., a viral artist who takes on digital art challenges by transforming Filipino celebrities into popular movie characters.

Quiñones Jr. rose to fame on TikTok by sharing his digital art process through his “Lowcostedit” account. He evolved from just sharing how he produces digital art to being a popular social media influencer on Tiktok, where he now has 1.3 million followers and over 28 million total likes. In addition, he has over 700,000 Facebook followers.

His transformation artwork of actress Liza Soberano, turning her into a Mona Liza-inspired digital art, was one of his most well-known masterpieces that went viral. The concept was inspired by a fan’s request, which is also where Quiñones Jr.’s viral artworks get insights. As of writing, the video has more than 300,000 total engagements and 2.9 million views on Tiktok.
