Minecraft: Education Edition saw its success during the Covid-19 outbreak, with companies like UNESCO to kickstart events, not to mention teacher-made events that make things interesting for both students and teachers with online learning.

Some teachers made some effort by reassessing themselves with the game’s interface and mechanics in order to create interesting builds.

Among those interesting builds in its early release were Benjamin Kelly’s resources, including his arctic world, creating a pre-programmed educational tour over the arctic, presenting numerous facts and landmarks of the arctic, made in 2020.

Recently, Japanese teacher Nojiri made a project to preserve their fond memories of school amid the outbreak. She worked alongside her students to create a replica of their elementary school, all the while their students learn and develop their communication, technological, and logic skills throughout.

Philippines’ educational sector also saw the potential of what the game has to offer for students and teachers, with DepEd’s recent launch of Minecraft: Education Edition for 23 million students’ mobile devices for learning, on March 16.

Minecraft: Education Edition is helpful with plenty of resources to use in pursuit of greater knowledge, notably how it helped students with general education and risk reduction. Similar to its base game, the amount of knowledge that a mentor can provide is only limited by its own creativity.
