Following her award-winning stint in the successful hit Netflix series ‘Squid game’ and securing her Screen Actors Guild Awards, Jung Ho Yeon is set to make her Hollywood debut in Apple TV+’s forthcoming thriller series, Disclaimer.

In November, Jung Ho Yeon signed an exclusive contract with Creative Arts Agency for her global acting projects, it was only a matter of time after securing her partnership with the agency, the model-actress has been cast as one of the stars for the upcoming AppleTV+ series directed by the critically acclaimed Spanish director Alfonso Cuarón, who directed Harry Potter, Pan’s Labyrinth, A Little Princess.

The breakout star will officially start her journey in Hollywood as the latest addition to the cast members list alongside several award-winning stars including Cate Blanchett, Sacha Baron Cohen, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Kevin Kline.

Based on the suspense-thriller novel written by Renee Knight, Disclaimer is a searing story that discusses the story of a “successful and respected television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the concealed transgressions of long-respected institutions. When an intriguing novel written by a widower (Kline) appears on her bedside table, she is horrified to realize she is a key character in a story that she had hoped was long buried in the past. A story that reveals her darkest secret. A secret she thought was hers alone.”

The series is said to revolve around the character of Cate Blanchet as Catherine Ravenscroft, an “accomplished television journalist” while Jung Ho Yeon will play the character of Kim, “a young and ambitious professional who idolizes Ravenscroft and knows that working for her is going to be her big break”.

Academy Award-winning director Alfonso Cuarón will serve as the series’ writer, director, and executive producer through Esperanto Filmoj. As directors of photography, he will be joined by Emmanuel Lubezki and Bruno Delbonnel.
