The stage at Pinewood Studios in the UK, where the upcoming Disney’s live-action ‘Snow White’ will be filmed, has caught on fire on Tuesday, March 15.

According to Variety, the stage was being built for the movie when a tree caught fire, resulting in a massive blaze.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Services arrived at the scene with 12 fire crews, accompanied with five officers and a control unit at 3:13 p.m

An officer was left to monitor the aftermath with the incident ending at 7 p.m, according to reports.

A video clip from one of the personnel shows the incident clearly, with the fire spreading towards the hatchment, just before the studio went ablaze.

“A tree has caught on fire, I don’t know how!” the person behind the video clip said.

A source told Variety that “No filming was underway” before the incident had started and it was believed that it started at the Richard Attenborough Stage.

A press release has yet to be made following the incident.

Pinewood sets have caught fire at least twice before: on Ridley Scott’s 1984 film “Legend” and in 2006 during a shoot for Bond film “Casino Royale.”
