SKY subscribers’ list of exciting shows to binge watch at home gets even more exciting as HBO GO introduces four new shows across genres—comedy, drama, and thriller—starring noted actors Hugh Jackman, Mark Ruffalo, Nicole Kidman, and Merrit Wever.

“Run”

Emmy Award winner Merrit Wever plays Ruby, who decides to escape her life in the suburbs and reconnects with her old college flame, Billy, played by Domhnall Gleeson, with whom she made a pact 17 years ago.

They swore to each other that if one of them texted the word “RUN” and the other replied the same, they would drop everything and meet in the Grand Central Station and travel across America together. Other cast members include “MadMan’s” Rich Sommer, “Coroner’s” Tamara Podemski, and “I Know This Much Is True’s” Archie Panjabi. Get ready for “Run” this April 13 (Monday), 10:30AM.

“Bad Education”

Based on a true crime that happened at a Long Island high school in the US, this HBO Films presentation stars Academy Award nominee Hugh Jackman and Academy Award winner Allison Janney and airs on April 26 (Sunday), 8AM.

In this dramedy, Hugh plays Frank, a district superintendent of the Roslyn School District in Long Island, N.Y. He is described as a hero to parents and students alike, responsible for turning Roslyn High into one of the state’s top-achieving public schools with his partner Pam (Allison). But when an embezzlement scheme surfaces and threatens to destroy all they have built, Frank is forced to maintain order and secrecy — by whatever means necessary.

“I Know This Much Is True”

Mark Ruffalo a.k.a The Hulk plays challenging roles in “I Know This Much Is True” as he portrays the identical twins, Dominic and Thomas Birdsey.

An adaptation of Wally Lamb’s 1998 novel of the same title, this family saga follows the story of the brothers wherein Dominick has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) while Thomas is a paranoid schizophrenic. Watch out for this six-episode story about betrayal, sacrifice, and forgiveness in 20th-century America this April 28 (Tuesday), 9AM.

“The Undoing”

Emmy-winning “Big Little Lies” creator David E. Kelley, and Emmy, Oscar, and Golden Globe-winning director, Susanne Bier creates a series based on the book “You Should Have Known” by Jean Hanff Korelitz. Joining the two are hit Hollywood actors, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, who will play as husband and wife, Grace and Jonathan.

The plot centers on the perfect life of the married couple and their son who studies in an elite private school in New York City. Their lives get disrupted when someone meets a violent death, a spouse goes missing, and a chain of terrible revelations happen. This series premieres same day as the U.S. on May 11 (Monday) at 9AM.
