All licensure examinations originally scheduled from June to August 2020 are postponed and will be moved to 2021, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said in an advisory Friday.

“Due to government’s imposed restrictions and other unforeseeable circumstances because of extended community quarantines, and to ensure the health and safety of the PRC examinees, Professional Regulatory Boards (PRBs) and examination personnel, the conduct of the following scheduled August 2020 licensure examinations are hereby postponed,” the PRC advisory reads.

The PRC said licensure examinations including environmental planners, guidance counselors, interior designers, landscape architects, mining engineers, nutritionists-dietitians, psychologists, psychometricians, social workers, veterinarians, master plumbers, mechanical engineers and, certified plant mechanics, medical technologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and sanitary engineers are duly rescheduled by 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The specific dates of the new schedules will be posted on PRC’s website and to its official social media accounts.

PRC urged the public to email the office via licensure.office@prc.gov.ph and licensure.division@prc.gov.ph, for further questions and concerns regarding the postponement of the licensure examinations. (PNA)
