Miss Grand Angola 2021, Marcia Marilia Agostinho de Menezes shocked everyone after she confessed that the dress that she wore during the final edits belonged to her mother.

She said that she had no money to buy a ball gown so she decided to choose and wear from her mother’s dress, which her mom kept for over 20 years.

One who was moved by her story was a big star designer from the Philippines, Zyrill Jane Jacinto from Pandi, Bulacan who lent some of her pieces to Miss Grand Angola.

The designer sent the package through Miss Grand Philippines’ mother who is bound for Thailand, including some stuff for the Filipina candidate as seen on her Instagram stories.

The 27-year-old thanked Jacinto through a messenger chat.

The African country has not sent a representative to the Miss Grand International since 2015, not until Marcia Marilia’s dedication took over the international pageant and found her way to join the competition.

As of writing, Miss Grand Angola, in her latest picture, can be seen boldly stunning in her orange bikini, ready to compete for the title.
