Filipino-Canadian singer Peyton Garcia explores a romantic attraction in his newly launched upbeat single “Tension” released under ABS-CBN’s StarPop label.

In an Instagram post, he shared a snippet on how he made “Tension,” with a mix of piano, saxophone, guitar, and drums sounds. The song follows his debut offering, “Vanilla Bean,” released last March.

The new track was penned by Peyton himself and produced and arranged by Michael Cursebox, with supervision from producer and StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.

Peyton, a Toronto native, enjoys expressing his feelings and stories with music. He previously underwent a three-year journey that included tours across Canada and the United States, song recordings, and music videos featured on platforms like ET Canada as a “Mini Pop Kids” alumni.

During the pandemic, Peyton pivoted by creating the Virtual Reality Show (VCR), an online teen platform showcasing local youth talents. The rising artist also ventured into acting with various roles in Amazon Prime and Nickelodeon series, TV commercials, and Musical Theatre productions.
