Miranda revealed the struggles that his band encountered upon completing the whole album for fans.
“Honestly, before this, parang tinamad na ko magsulat…for 5yrs nakatiwangwang lang yung album, with no definite plans kung kelan matatapos at kung kelan ito ilalabas (well…ganun naman kasi talaga kami eh hehe!),” he shared
Parokya ni Edgar’s 9th album “Pogi Years Old” was released in October 2016 under Universal Records. After those years, they have not released a full album even once. He then confesses that the band somehow felt lazy to finish the upcoming release.
Although the rock band had to face some circumstances throughout the process, Chito happily announced that finally, they had the urged to finish the whole album.
“Ngayon, bigla kaming ginanahan tapusin, at kinagagalak kong sabihin na maglalabas kami ng bagong album by November,” Miranda revealed in his Instagram post.
Parokya ni Edgar is a Filipino rock band composed of 5 members namely; Alfonso “Chito” Miranda Jr. (lead vocals), Buhawi “Buwi” Meneses (bass guitar), Darius Gerard “Dar” Semaña (lead guitar), Gabriel Ignatius “Gab” Chee Kee (rhythm guitar/vocals), and Ferdinand “Dindin” Moreno (drums).
