As the digital world continuously expands, many people claim that the blogging industry has become irrelevant. However, statistics show otherwise.

Based on the data from WebTribunal, there are more than 600 million blogs that are shared on the Internet, and approximately two million blogs are posted per day. In terms of engagement, Social Media Today stated that 77% of internet users choose to read blogs.

Thus, PAGEONE is launching an online competition, titled “THE WILDFYRE FUND,” to further improve the practice of the blogging industry in the country. This competition aims to nurture emerging bloggers and produce the next stars among members of the Filipino blogging community.

The competition will run annually with a total of 10 winners each year. Winners of “THE WILDFYRE FUND” will receive a cash prize amounting to Php 5,000, and the Best in Class will receive Php 20,000.00. All winners will be given a website and a social media page that will be maintained by the Wildfyre team. The social media assets of the winning bloggers will also be managed by a digital team that will post content to ensure better engagement.

In addition, winners will also receive mentorship from seasoned personalities and experts about the intricacies of digital marketing, ranging from search engine optimization and content creation to social media management.

The contest is open to existing bloggers and those aspiring to be one. Registration for the competition starts on September 28. The Wildfyre team will assign blogging tasks to participants after the screening of applicants. It will run until October 5, when the winning bloggers will be announced.

To apply, contestants may go to the official website of THE WILDFYRE FUND at https://thewildfyrefund.com/ powered and created by the PAGEONE group. Bloggers who want to join will be asked to fill out a form telling us about themselves, what content they like to write about, and in what way they want to be known for.

THE WILDFYRE FUND will be judged by the head of LadyBug Jam Galindez, head of BrandPlay Fritz Cruz, head of Reverb Jocelyn Diga, Louie Sebastian-Paragas, head of Brown Bag Communications Philippines and President of PAGEONE Group Vonj Tingson.
