The OCTA Research Group said Sunday no new cases were recorded in Mandaluyong and Pateros in the National Capital Region (NCR) on Saturday.

NCR, with 149 cases, logged the most number of infections among the 15 regions or provinces that recorded infections as of April 2.

Iloilo followed with 30 cases; Cavite, 18; Cebu, 16; Rizal, 15; Bulacan, 14; Pampanga, 13; Bataan, 12; Laguna, 7; Pangasinan, 7; South Cotabato, 7; Zamboanga del Sur, 7; Cagayan, 5; Davao del Sur, 5; and Benguet, 4.

David said all data were extracted from the Department of Health (DOH) website.

Also on Saturday, Guido said the DOH reported 373 new Covid-19 cases, higher than the predicted (360), 26 deaths, and 1,549 recoveries.

There are still 37,115 active infections and a 2 percent nationwide positivity rate, or the percentage of people testing positive during a certain period. (PNA)
