As the economy opens up, transportation and logistics companies will look into ramping up their operations while cutting down costs. The newly launched Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 is formulated with this in mind. Delo 400 SLK is able to boost the performance of various engine designs, allowing one oil for vehicles from different OEMs, from America, to European to Japanese – new or old – with or without DPF aftertreatment device, thus reducing inventory costs for vehicle operators.

Today’s critical and in-demand commercial road transports, such as shipping and logistics trucks, buses, waste management trucks and off-road vehicles can achieve superb engine performance with Delo 400 SLK.

Performance edge for businesses

Introduced by Caltex Delo, which is marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), the new engine oil addresses the needs of diesel engines operating under on and off-road conditions. Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 is API CK-4 and offers improved oxidation stability allowing engines to have extended drain intervals, enabling smoother and undisrupted operations even for vehicles operating under stop-and-go and severe operating conditions. The new Delo 400 SLK’s exceptional anti-wear system also offers robust wear and corrosion protection of engine components. These all means improved equipment reliability, reduced vehicle downtime and less operational costs.

Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 has been field tested and in one such field trial, the thirty trucks field tested reached an extended drain interval of 60,000 km to 80,000 km, attesting to the product’s enhanced oxidation stability and wear protection.

“With the gradual reopening of the economy and easing of quarantine restrictions in the country, it is vital that companies ramp up their fleet while keeping the engines protected to better meet customers’ ever-increasing needs. When we upgrade our engine oils, we also future-proof our vehicles during these uncertain times,” said Area Business Manager of Chevron Lubricants for Philippines Hafiz Nasar. “At Chevron, we promise to constantly innovate and deliver next-generation products to keep our customers at the forefront of latest technology development.”

Industry leading, advanced formula

Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 is formulated with ISOSYN Advanced Technology, a unique integration of premium base oils, high-performance additives, and the company’s formulation expertise infused into top-tier Delo products. Synthesized with additives for better soot dispersion, minimized filter plugging, and sludge protection, the technology guarantees improved engine protection and longer oil life, thus providing Delo users with superior performance advantage.

The product is also made with the latest generation low-SAPS (Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulfur) formulation, enabling it to maintain emission control system performance that meets strict emission standards and to extend the life of sensitive aftertreatment devices and the cleaning intervals of engine filters.

Delo 400 SLK’s balanced formulation can lubricate a vast range of high-speed engines requiring API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS/SN or ACEA E9 performance lubricants.

The new Delo 400 SLK is available in drum and 18L pail packaging. Contact Caltex by sending an email to PHLubesweb@chevron.com or talk to your sales representative to know more on how to avail of Caltex’ newest engine oil.
