The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 13 (Caraga Region) has distributed 110,885 family food packs to families affected by recent typhoons.

As of Wednesday, Surigao del Norte received the largest allocation with 40,845 packs, followed by Dinagat Islands with 33,990 and Surigao del Sur with 8,227.

The remaining supplies went to Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, and Butuan City.

“The operations of DSWD-13 continue to ensure that food packs and other aid reach every affected family in the region,” the agency said.

On Tuesday, the agency and Tubajon’s municipal government in Dinagat Islands distributed 4,609 food packs, along with 530 bottles of water and 200 tarpaulins.

A separate team distributed 2,099 food packs in Claver, Surigao del Norte on the same day. (PNA)
