Following in the footsteps of her late father, National Artist Fernando Poe Jr., who established FPJ Productions, actress Lovi Poe is set to launch her own production company, “C’est Lovi Productions.” The company is wittingly titled after her name.

The actress shared the exciting news on her Instagram account with a screenshot of an exclusive article posted by Hollywood media outlet Deadline.

“It’s been a passion of mine to be in the business of making films in front of the camera for a number of years already, and as I continue to do that I’d like to be behind the camera too and develop projects from the beginning,” Poe wrote in the caption.

C’est Lovi Productions’ main goal is to spotlight Filipino stories and artists on the international scene. In her post, she emphasized how important it is for her for the world to recognize “Filipino talent either behind or in front of the camera.”

The future is already looking bright for the production company, as it has a couple of films lined up already, including the psychological thriller film “Alyssa” to be directed by distinguished director Jerrold Tarog, known for his work on “Heneral Luna.”

The actress also honored her late father by wishing him a happy birthday in advance and hoping that she can continue the legacy that her father’s production company left behind by bringing Filipino stories “especially those independent, lesser known but equally good ones—internationally.”
