Lawyer Paolo Evangelista, the Kidapawan City information officer, said Wednesday the shop owner informed him of the free services as a way of giving back to local health workers.

“All the front-liners have to do is to come to the barbershop, present identification cards, and haircut is for free,” Evangelista said over radio DXMS here, referring to the Sozu barbershop located along Daang Maharlika, Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City.

“We welcome such gestures of support,” Evangelista added.

He said barbershops in the city are required to comply with Covid-19 health protocols, such as the wearing of facemasks and face shields. (PNA)
