The “Queen of Tears” is one of the shows that took over K-drama fans’ screens during the first half of the year. Its leading actor, Kim Soo Hyun, recently concluded his fan meeting in Manila, bringing joy to his fans.
K-drama star Kim Soo Hyun spent a wonderful time with fans last June 29, 2024 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, filling the Big Dome with laughter and good vibes as he learned new Filipino words like “Charot” and “Eme” at his fan meeting.
This recently concluded event was held as part of his “Eyes on You” Asia tour. Throughout that Saturday night, Soo Hyun shined brightly as he showed his infectious smile to the thousands of fans present in the venue. In addition, he performed covers of some hit songs such as “All of Me” by John Legend and “Wherever You Will Go” by The Calling.
During the fan meet, Soo Hyun also revisited unforgettable moments from his dramas with the fans. He even recreated a well-known scene in “Queen of Tears” where he shouted “Hae-in!”, the name of Kim Ji Won’s character in the drama, who is Soo Hyun’s leading lady as the protagonist Baek Hyun Woo.
The fan meet headed to the finale successfully as Soo Hyun performed his OST from the said drama. It is entitled “Way Home,” which was a song that marked his return as an OST singer after 10 years.
Soo Hyun last held a fan meeting in the Philippines last January 2023, arranged by one of the many brands he’s endorsing.
