The talk will evaluate the learnings and insights of teachers and students during the pandemic. These reflections are then utilized to become more effective student-centered mentors as institutions of learning slowly conduct limited face-to-face classes.

It will likewise delve on the redesigned approaches to address anticipated challenges today, as well as tackle the important role and contribution of the social media in facilitating and aiding the students in this transition.

Organized by the Center for Inclusive Education (CIE) of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in partnership with the Benildean Student Envoys (BSE), Post-Pandemic Inclusion: A Teaching & Learning Forum will be spearheaded by Rogelio Dela Cruz, together with experienced educators Portia De Mesa and Jan Yolec Homecillo.

Dela Cruz, equipped with backgrounds in Counseling Psychology, Anthropology and Learning and Teaching, has taught General Psychology, Personality Theories, Human Behavior in Organization and Sociology and Cultural Anthropology in the different undergraduate programs of the college. She likewise teaches at Benilde Senior High School.

Homecillo, equipped with a Master of Arts degree focused in Fine Arts and Design from the Philippine Women’s University in Manila, is an arts and design professional who shares his expertise with the young student-artists as a faculty member of Benilde Animation.
