Leading broadcast company GMA Network, Inc. (GMA) was conferred a Silver Anvil at the recently concluded 56th Anvil Awards’ Gabi ng Parangal.

The winning entry “Buong Puso Para sa Pilipino: GMA Network’s COVID-19 Response,” which encompassed the Network’s overall response through an integrated communications strategy, was recognized under the “Specialized Public Relations Program – COVID-related PR programs with tools” category.

Adapting the Kapuso Network’s 70th anniversary tagline “Buong Puso Para sa Pilipino,” the campaign was a collection of GMA’s efforts on air, online, and on-ground geared towards Filipinos here and abroad, as well as its own workforce during such challenging times.

These executions were conceptualized and carried out by various GMA groups: Administration; Corporate Affairs and Communications; Engineering; Entertainment; GMA Artist Center; GMA Kapuso Foundation; Human Resources; Information and Communications Technology; International; News and Public Affairs; Radio; Regional; Post-Production; and Program Support.

Amidst the pandemic, the Kapuso Network stayed true to its commitment of providing Serbisyong Totoo. This included the continuous delivery of the much needed news and information across its on air and online platforms. Part of GMA’s campaign as well was its line-up of documentaries, specials, and entertainment programs that presented compelling stories and relevant content.

GMA also reached out to different communities across the country to provide essential aid to frontliners and Filipino families in need.

Further proving how the company values its people as its best assets, the “Buong Puso Para sa Pilipino: GMA Network’s COVID-19 Response” incorporated various initiatives towards the Network’s workforce.

Organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), the Anvil Awards is considered as the top awards program for public relations in the country, honoring the most outstanding relations programs, tools, and practitioners.
