CinemaWorld takes viewers on an emotional journey with the slate of powerful movies dedicated to fathers via the special “A Father’s Love” airing every Saturday this month of June.

Headlining the line-up is the 2012 Polish film “My Father’s Bike” which will air on June 6. This film marks the acting debut of Polish Jazz luminary Michał Urbaniak at the age of 69. He portrays the retired jazz-performer Włodzimierz, who was abandoned by his wife for another man. His son, Pawel, a successful classical-pianistł (Artur Żmijewski) decides to stop his tour and taps grandson, Maciek, (Krzysztof Chodorowski) to help him trace his wife’s whereabouts. See what happens to their journey and what secrets will they discover in each other.

Meanwhile, “Just A Father” tackles the story of being a single parent. After losing his wife due to childbirth, Carlo (Luca Argentero) needs to juggle his profession as a doctor and a father to their daughter. Things get smoother day by day, until a woman named Camille (Diane Fleri) enters the picture. Join him in his journey to single parenthood this June 13.

“Casino Royale’s” Mads Mikkelsen stars as David in the German sci-fi thriller “The Door”. A father has the chance to redo his future and possibly bring back her daughter who died because of him. Will he succeed or make life more difficult for his family? Join him in his journey to the past this June 20.

Screened at the 71st Venice International Film Festival, “Perez” revolves around the story of famous criminal Lawyer Demetrio (Luca Zingaretti).
