If you’re also one of the individuals who is invested in knowing what the deal is with the trending OceanGate Titan submersible, here are some things to know first.

OceanGate is a company based in the United States that started in 2009. This firm was built to focus on exploring the resources of the deepest oceans.

Its agency allows commoners to conduct their own research under the ocean as long as they comply with their fees and age bracket.

Relating to this, a small vessel from the company took off, carrying five people down to the Atlantic Ocean to view the wrecked Titanic recently.

According to OceanGate Expeditions, Titan is the world’s only carbon-fiber submersible, and it is capable of diving five people to 4,000 meters.

The trip did not go smoothly as expected, as the vessel had complications that came to the point that they had reached the deadline for the vessel’s oxygen supply.

This has then become the talk of almost the entire world, noting that the vessel carries the chief executive officer and founder of OceanGate.

After searching for quite some time, the company revealed that the passengers were not able to survive the tragic accident.

“Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew,” OceanGate said on their Facebook post.

Up until now, the authorities are still seeing debris in relation to the implosion that happened on OceanGate’s vessel.
