The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is calling on pregnant women and parents of children under two years old in Northern Mindanao to register for the “i-Registro” system to qualify for cash grants starting January 2025.

In a statement Wednesday, Oliver Inodeo, DSWD Region 10 focal person, said the registration is open to members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).

“The registration would be the basis for the program to identify and release the first 1,000 days grant starting January 2025,” Inodeo said.

The beneficiaries must coordinate with their assigned City Links or Municipal Links to complete the registration process, he added.

Qualified beneficiaries will receive an additional monthly grant of PHP350, aimed at supporting the first 1,000 days of an infant’s growth under the Kalusugan Mag-Nanay Act.

“This measure ensures the proper development in the first 1,000 days of the growing infant,” Inodeo said. (PNA)
