More than 3,000 vacancies will be available at the “Trabaho Para sa Bagong Pilipinas” job fair to be organized by the Department of Labor and Employment in Bicol (DOLE-5) on March 7, at the Fuerte Camarines Sur Sports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur.

In a media release on Thursday, DOLE 5 Director Imelda Gatinao said the job fair is a significant step toward helping Bicolanos, especially women, in availing more employment opportunities.

“Through this initiative, we aim to provide participants access to various industries and contribute to their personal and economic growth. We encourage everyone to attend and take advantage of the opportunities offered by DOLE for a brighter future,” Gatinao said.

A total of 35 confirmed employers from various industries – including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), trade, transportation and logistics, construction, and tourism – will be participating at the job fair, which carried the theme, “Kabuhayan at Trabaho Para sa Kababaihan: Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas.”

Among the most in-demand positions up for grabs are customer service representatives, sales personnel, cashiers, drivers, delivery helpers, service crews, baggers, and factory workers. Other job openings include human resource associate, finance associate, accounting staff, procurement staff, field reporter, civil engineer, and financial analyst.

Meanwhile, job seekers can also avail of the services offered by the Social Security System, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Home Development Mutual Fund, Bureau of Internal Revenue, National Bureau of Investigation, Philippine Statistics Authority, and Technical Education And Skills Development Authority at the job fair.
