The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has recently delivered 153 electronic land titles (e-titles) directly to the doorsteps of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Barangay Boboy, Agno, Pangasinan.
In a news release on Friday, the department said the initiative, implemented through its Serbisyong DAR-to-Door program, highlights the government’s commitment to gender equality, ensuring that both women and men farmers equally benefit from agrarian reform programs.
The program also ensures that even ARBs in remote areas are not left behind.
“This direct distribution of e-titles reflects the true spirit of public service,” Pangasinan Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer (PARPO) Raymond Niño Yu said.
“Each title we deliver fulfills a dream and opens doors to a better, more secure future for our ARBs.”
DAR said the home delivery of land titles benefited 122 ARBs, covering a total of 228.82 hectares of land under the Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (Project SPLIT).
The project aims to convert collective Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOAs) into individual titles, enhancing land tenure security and access to government support.
DAR personnel navigated steep and mountainous terrain to reach the far-flung barangay, ensuring that even the most remote farmers were not left behind.
Meanwhile, the farmer-beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and the DAR, led by Secretary Conrado Estrella III, for making land ownership a reality, and for continuously advancing the goals of agrarian reform. (PNA)
