An estimated 13,000 devotees attended the annual Jesus Nazareno procession, known as “Traslacion,” here Thursday, according to the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO).

This year’s attendance was lower than the 18,000 estimated in 2024.

“This significant religious event was made successful through strong collaboration,” COCPO said.

COCPO also acknowledged the contributions of volunteers and the cooperation of devotees.

Mayor Rolando Uy spoke to the devotees about the procession’s spiritual significance. “May this give us strength in our daily activities, especially in serving the public,” he said.
