Cluster airport manager Ronald Estabillo, in an interview on Wednesday, said the new routes are Basco in Batanes, Calayan in Cagayan and Baguio City, with the latter passing through Binalonan Airport in Pangasinan.

He said the airline already has a station and a check-in counter at the Laoag airport.

Known as the “jeepney in the sky,” Sky Pasada currently has routes originating from the Tuguegarao Airport in Cagayan province, going to Basco in Batanes; Cauayan, Maconacon and Palanan in Isabela; Baguio City; Binalonan, and Calayan.

Latest fleet includes the LET 410 UVP which can carry 15 passengers, Cessna Grand Caravan Ex with a capacity of 12 passengers, and the Mahindra GA8 airvan that can accommodate seven passengers.

At present, the Laoag International Airport caters to the country’s flag carrier Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific, servicing passengers bound for Manila and Cebu.
