The country’s brightest and critically-acclaimed movie icons will join forces in support of displaced film workers in Lockdown Cinema Club and Ricky Lee Scriptwriting Workshop’s “Gabi ng Himala” an online fundraising event in partnership with ABS-CBN Film Restoration this April 21 (Tuesday) at 8 PM.

Streaming on ABS-CBN Film Restoration’s Facebook page, the event will feature respected actors, singers, writers, and directors, including Charo Santos, Piolo Pascual, Nora Aunor, Lea Salonga, Jodi Sta. Maria, Maja Salvador, Angelica Panganiban, Shaina Magdayao, Nadine Lustre, Raymond Bagatsing, Iyah Mina, Ricky Davao, Ricky Lee, Olive Lamasan, Lav Diaz, Petersen Vargas, Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, Bituin Escalante, Aicelle Santos, and Joyce Bernal.

Hosted by Ryan Agoncillo and Bianca Gonzales, the event aims to raise funds for film workers whose livelihood were greatly affected by the enhanced community quarantine.

The night will be a tribute to the multi-awarded film “Himala,” with actors doing monologues and reenactment of excerpts from the movie.

Viewers can as well expect a musical treat with song numbers from the “Himala: The Musical”.

A live chat will also ensue, giving the fans the chance to get to know their favorite movie icons.
