Over 3,000 employees of the provincial government here availed of the caravan of services in observance of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary on Monday.
Antique provincial government Human Resources Management officer Rene Oberio said in an interview that the activity at the capitol grounds is the provincial government’s way of giving importance to government workers.
“Through the caravan of services, provincial government employees availed of free medical, dental, and legal consultation as we celebrate the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary,” he said.
Oberio said the Antique Integrated Provincial Health Office, Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital, and the Provincial Legal Office, provided the free medical, dental and legal consultation.
The Office of the Provincial Agriculture Officer and Office of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer distributed vegetable and fruit-bearing seedlings.
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation conducted a registration for its Yaman ng Kalusugan Program.
United Provincial Government Employees Association president Ma. Lourdes Fortaleza said they were grateful for the provincial government caravan of services.
The association facilitated the conduct of Zumba and provided employees with hot arroz caldo.
The provincial government also extended loyalty awards to four employees for their more than 40 years in service. (PNA)
