Through a coordinated multi-agency effort, a total of 1,834 residents in Barangay Nuevo Iloco in Mawab, Davao de Oro, benefited from a caravan of services.

In a post-event press release Friday, Mayor Myrill Apit said the “My Real Serbisyo Caravan” hosted a comprehensive government services package on Thursday, providing 470 residents with free health services, including 212 medical consultations, 128 dental services and 130 circumcisions.

She added that social welfare assistance was also extended to 10 solo parents, 28 senior citizens and eight persons with disabilities.

“Through initiatives like this, we ensure that assistance is accessible, responsive, and aligned with the needs of every community we serve,” Apit said.

In the agriculture sector, she reported that 25 residents received anti-rabies vaccinations, 32 were given corn planting materials, and 15 benefited from services of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Additionally, 96 residents availed of civil registration services, 269 received Philippine Health Insurance Corporation assistance, and five transacted with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Apit underscored the importance of sustained outreach efforts to ensure that no sector is left behind.

“The My Real Serbisyo Caravan is a concrete expression of our commitment to bring government services directly to our people,” she said.

She reaffirmed their commitment to further expand the caravan’s reach, strengthening inclusive and people-centered service delivery across all villages. (PNA)
