The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 13 (Caraga) announced on Wednesday that more than 100,000 beneficiaries and clients have been verified so far this month through its Basta Beripikado, Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM Serbisyo) web application.

“The BBM Serbisyo is an online platform that verifies basic information of clients and beneficiaries, their National ID (PhilSys) registration, to modernize, secure, and speed up the delivery of assistance,” the DSWD-13 said.

It also stated that the platform will help ensure that assistance and other basic services of the agency reach the appropriate beneficiaries.

The platform further aims to prevent fraud and duplicate claims in programs such as the DSWD’s social pensions and livelihood programs.

“The DSWD-13 continues its efforts to verify all beneficiaries and clients this year,” the agency said.

It also urged beneficiaries and clients who have not yet verified to visit the DSWD-13 office to undergo the verification process.

They may also use the online link https://bbmserbisyo.dswd.gov.ph/ to process their verification, the agency added. (PNA)
