The Pasay City government started the inoculation of the elderly and persons with comorbidities on Tuesday.

Jun Burgos, Pasay’s public information officer, said in a statement they are expecting to vaccinate around 1,640 individuals within this week.

Of the total, 700 are individuals with comorbidities (A3) aged 18 to 59 years old.

They are required to present medical certificates (not more than 18 months), doctors’ prescriptions (not more than six months), and hospital or surgical records.

There are also 170 healthcare workers and other medical front-liners who have yet to get their jabs.

The vaccination is held at Andres Bonifacio Elementary School (District 1) and Corazon Aquino High School (District 2).

The elderly will be inoculated with AstraZeneca vaccines at the Timoteo Paez Elementary School while A1 and A3 priority groups will get CoronaVac jabs.

Residents can sign up for the vaccination campaign online via https://forms.gle/u1pHFU3Y53X48vEf8, or coordinate with village offices or health centers.
