The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday reported 44 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) recoveries among Filipinos abroad.
In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also tallied 51 new Covid-19 infections, increasing the total number of cases to 11,474 with no new fatality.
The death toll remains at 828 while the total number of recoveries rose to 7,411.
“The confirmed cases and recoveries were recorded in the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa,” the DFA said.
Meanwhile, about 3,235 Filipinos overseas are still undergoing treatment.
“The DFA, together with its Foreign Service Posts, continues to partner with host governments to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipino nationals abroad amid the pandemic,” the DFA added. (PNA)
