The proposed 2020 budget plan of Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) was blown up to P734 Million from its initial amount of P2.1 Billion. People are not happy about it and they are getting attacked for the overpriced cost for their Information and Communications Technology (ICT) projects.

There were a lot of items that were not supposed to be part of the list and there are price increases from the original costing and one great example of it is the Adobe Master Collection Software. An Adobe Software costs P168,000 but it was listed to have a price of P21 Million.

PhilHealth is overdoing it with this P21 Million budget for Adobe Software. With that kind of budget, they can already edit and produce amazing outputs because content creators, artists and editing companies out there are already able to produce good materials with free software alone.

So, with that said we will be waiting for their wonderful outputs. Either that, or they can give an explanation behind the blown up budget.
